**Please read before booking

 

  • Hello, thank you for your interest in my tattoo work.

    Most of my process is entirely freehand. I draw the design on your body in person to create a piece just for you. This requires a lot of trust between us and artistic freedom to do my best work for you.

    All bodies and tones are welcome.

    I am based in Los Angeles and part-time in New York - while frequently visiting the Bay Area.

    International cities I’ve visited include: Paris, London, Berlin, Zurich, and more.

    • You must be 18+, fully vaccinated (government issued ID required)

    • Masks required (no cloth masks)

    • 1 guest allowed but please let me know in advance

    LA Location: Bearwithme LA, private studio in Atwater Village/Glendale

    • Workdays: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri (Sundays for existing clients)

    NY Location: Studio Ennui, private studio in Koreatown, Manhattan

  • Booking is done via email only.

    Please join my mailing list to receive email notification and booking access when they open. I usually book appointments for 2 months at a time.

    You will receive a general booking email with an inquiry form once every even month - for LA, NY, and any guestwork cities.

    Please include as much info and/or reference photos in your form so I can visualize your request best. Below is the general booking process:

    1. Read ‘faq' page in full

    2. Submit booking form

    3. Receive a response via email within 1 week, with consultation notes, price quote

    4. Submit deposit within 24 hrs of response and choose appointment slot

    5. Receive confirmation email and studio details

  • All designs are one of one.

    Price is determined by concept, size, and placement. Multi session projects (sleeves, body pieces, etc.) are done at a flat day rate between 1200-1800 per session, lower rate per day as the number of sessions increase. Heritage and Kamon tattoos start at 350-400.

    *for LA only, I offer discounted day rates for wannado concepts (pre-designed piece I want to do)

    • ‘Brushstrokes’ - done freehand, minimum 1/2 arm, leg, etc. Include starting/ending point placement, and how you want the strokes to flow *wannado concepts here

    • ‘Heritage tattoos’ - custom designed family, family member, or ancestral name. 1.5-2 inch min. per character or large scale abstracted piece. Japanese/Chinese characters or any other Asian language with your guidance *for the Asian diaspora only

    • ‘Kamon (Japanese Family Crest)’ - Japanese family crest tattoos redesigned in my abstract, brushstroke style (see here) *these family crests are specific to your family, please have photos ready of family heirlooms or any documents showing your family crest, for Japanese diaspora only

    • No mock up designs will be sent prior to your appointment, you will see your design on the day of our session and minor adjustments can be made. However rough ideas will be covered during booking process/consultation.

    • Please do not bring my concepts, designs, or tattoo work to another artist

    A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This will go towards the final price of your tattoo.

    • $100 for Heritage & Kamon tattoos

    • $300 for all others

    • 30% for guest work sessions

    The remainder can be paid in Venmo, cash, or PayPal on your appointment day.

    *Tips are greatly appreciated but at your discretion

    **Pricing may vary during guest work sessions to help cover travel and additional studio/supply cost

  • Please try to give at least a week in advance notice if you’d like to reschedule or cancel.

    • Cancellations at any point/no shows will forfeit the deposit.

    • Rescheduling at any point will forfeit the deposit unless the appointment can be filled by another client.

    • Guest work deposits are non-refundable

  • The majority of my work is large scale which will be a lot on your body. It is imperative that you are prepared for our session.

    • Eat a solid meal, sleep well, stay hydrated **bring water/meals/plenty of snacks to fuel you during our session

    • Do not drink alcohol for at least 24 hours prior

    • Keep your skin hydrated/moisturized before our session

    • Please wear black clothing (precaution for ink stain) and bring long sleeve/long pant options in case you feel cold

    • Bring headphones, chargers, a book, things you might want for entertainment/distraction

    • Please come on time, keep the day free in case our session runs longer than expected

    **If you have any health conditions that may affect your physical preparedness, or skin conditions in the tattoo area (eczema, acne, etc.) please let me know beforehand so I can accommodate as best as I can.

  • After your session you will have the option of a Dermshield (Secondskin, Saniderm, etc.) or plastic wrap depending on your sensitivity to bandages.

    You will not be able to exercise, swim, or be over exposed to the sun for at least 2-4 weeks post tattoo, please plan your appointment accordingly.

    One time touchup is free up to 1 year, please shoot me an email.
